Green Team

**Congratulations, Poplar Grove School, for receiving the "Standout School Award" from Keep Williamson Beautiful!** This award was earned by excelling in our green initiatives.Poplar Grove Elementary is a  “Green” school. Our students, faculty, staff and families promote, educate and participate in “green” activities. The elementary sponsor for green team is Mrs. Mary Jo Dunne.

We recycle plastic, tin, mixed paper, cardboard, ink cartridges, old cell phones, and batteries. We also participate in the Terracycle Program by recycling Elmer’s glue, Sharpies, Colgate, and dried out products.

We partner with the community for special projects, such as the Arbor Day Tree Project.
