Lunch Menus

Our vision is to serve every student a fresh, colorful, well-balanced quality meal every day in a safe, positive and welcoming environment. Each meal will be served by professional, knowledgeable and caring employees. Through promoting good nutritional habits for a lifetime and being inclusive of all cultures, we will ensure all students a chance to excel in their education and well-being.

MealViewer

Cafeteria menus are available online through MealViewer, an interactive platform for students and parents. MealViewer is available through the website and has a mobile app for each school. It allows students and parents to view individual school menus, allergens, nutrition information, and even gives students the ability to rate the school’s food! Parents can personalize the app by setting allergens, and the app will display an alert when these allergens are present in that day’s menu.

Substitution Clause:  A manager may need to make a substitution due to the delivery schedule or equipment issues. MealViewer may not reflect this last minute change.

Managing Your Child's Account

The FSD offers families a convenient online way to manage their child’s cafeteria account. Using RevTrak, parents can pay for their students’ meals online with a credit card or debit card (transaction fee applied). RevTrak also offers parents the option to set up email notifications when their child’s account balance reaches a pre-defined amount, to view account history, and to set up automatic payment plans.

In-Person Cash Transactions

FSD Food and Culinary Services is self-supporting and oversees the collection of all cash transactions at each school site.  Each student is assigned an individual account number which is used throughout the school year. Pre-payments are appreciated, but single payments are also welcomed. Breakfast, lunch, and a la carte items can be purchased each day.  Exact change is appreciated. Payments in excess of the price of the meal are credited to the student's cafeteria account.
Individual account information is available from the FCS managers at each school. Each school offers a variety of a la carte items daily. Students may not purchase a la carte items if they have a negative cafeteria balance.

Meal Prices

Please Note:  If a student does not take a complete meal they will be charged a la carte prices.

What makes a complete free meal?

FSD participates in the USDA's Offer vs. Serve Program for all grade levels except for Pre-K.  This program allows students to choose what they like to eat from  five components:

  • Meat/ Meat Alternative (Entrée)
  • Vegetables
  • Fruits/Juice
  • Grains
  • Milk

For breakfast a student must choose at least two different food items and one of these must be a fruit or vegetable.  For lunch a student must choose at least three different food items and one of these must be a fruit or vegetable.

Students are encouraged to choose one of each of the components but are not required to choose all components.  For breakfast and lunch to be a "complete meal," and therefore qualify as free, a student must select a Fruit/Juice or Vegetable.  Milk is not required to make a complete meal.

Breakfast Prices (2024-2025):
  • $2.75 Students
  • $3.00 Adults
  • $5.00 Adult Holiday Meal
Lunch Prices (2024-2025):
  • $3.75 Students
  • $4.25 Adults
  • $3.75 Child Visitor
  • $6.00 Adult Holiday Meal

Birthday Ice Cream

Families who wish to celebrate a child's birthday at school may purchase an ice cream treat for all students in the class to enjoy at lunchtime. This can be done by ordering and purchasing from the cafeteria two weeks before your child’s celebration day.  Ice cream treats available to the students will include options for those students with food allergies and other dietary restrictions. Please click the form below for the order form in both English and Spanish.
